In 2010, there seems to be a battle of the qualities of human nature: the side that desires independence and autonomy to acquire freedom and the side that accepts convenience and ease at the cost of slavery. Of course, ideology has much to do with how human nature deals with the stigmatisms of life, and unfortunately, that ideology today is and has been controlled largely by the national education system—the federal department of education. Despite the United States Constitution (“USC”) not granting to the federal government any powers even close to establishing a national education system, generation after generation of federal politicians have more firmly established the federal department of education’s role in the States of America’s life.
Like a perverted child-molester who would lure an unsuspecting child into his car by giving him or her delightful candy to consume, the federal government similarly lures the States into its trap. The States, as naïve, stupid or ignorant as a deceived child, willingly get into the federal car, exchanging their lives for the sake of some temporary pleasure. Thus, it is no wonder why even State politicians stick their hands out for federal give-away’s, despite their selling the State’s soul to federal supremacy and control over matters which the USC supposedly reserved to the States prior to the formation of the USC. The means and ends are despicable and deserve to be treated as such.
Thankfully, more and more people from the various States are waking up to the atrocities of federal lordship and State servitude—though much too late to have prevented the federal government from reaching the point of being utterly outside the realm of legitimate authority, thus causing millions of Americans to have to make that awful choice between slavery or freedom. With each light turned on in the heart and mind of an individual in these States, the number of others increases exponentially. One such latest ray of hope comes from the great State of Texas.
As Devvy Kidd so eloquently put in her latest article, the federal government has no intention of eliminating the department of education, as Ronald Reagan even promised but failed to fulfill and as the republicans in Washington D.C. have no intention to accomplish either, despite having many opportunities in the past to do so unfettered. Still, there are some people–having sworn an oath to uphold the USC–who are willing to stand up and say no! In particular, Texas State Board of Education member Cynthia Dunbar (who is a lawyer and an assistant professor of law at Liberty University School of Law) is doing just that, by submitting to the board a nullification resolution opposing the authority of the federal department of education in the State of Texas.
Would to God we had Montana legislators, sheriffs, elected officials and a governor who had that kind of knowledge and courage to do what is not only right and constitutional, but necessary!—to, instead of looking for federal handouts and nationalism-ease, implement a real plan of Montana independence and autonomy in all areas of local and state life so that our children can be trained and educated in the kind of knowledge and integrity that make people free and prosperous, not more trampled and enslaved to an unconstitutional, debauched system of federal corruption, control and waste!

Could you set up your blog columns so that there is an easy way to link their URL to our Facebook pages? Most of the writings from your keyboard and your Dad’s should “go viral” coast to coast, IMO. Thanks for your constant efforts to maintain traditional Judeo-Christian American values.

Tim: Thanks I agree with you. We really have it bad here in N.D. = all socialist in our state government, with Kent Conrad, Byron Dorgan and Palmeroy leading the way. We did make a litle headway by replacing Dorgan with a replublican and replacing palmoroy with an Independent, but we still have a long way to go, to make any changes. Walt

Thank you, all, for your kind remarks. No doubt, there’s a lot of work to do.
